Sponsored by the Saluda Tiger Band Booster Club

Saluda Tiger Band needs help from parents, families, alumni, the community, and supporters to help make this year a success. We need help in 3 main areas for this season. Please follow the links below to sign up and help.

Friday Night Home Football Game Concessions

Football game concessions are our biggest fundraisers of the year, and we need volunteers to help make this happen. This year we will have two new concession stands to operate from. All volunteers who work the full game will receive a $30 credit towards their student’s band fees for each game you work. Want to bring a friend or two to help? Credit will be applied for their work also. Any volunteers under 18 will need to be accompanied by one adult volunteer per child.

Provide assistance to the band at Saturday Competitions

We need drivers and pit crew to help haul our props and equipment from the SHS band room to the field of competition. In order to be competitive in the modern day marching arts, Tiger Band utilizes props, electronic sound equipment, and on-field percussion, which the students need assistance with to get on and off the field. We also have to haul all of that equipment, along with instruments to the stadiums. You don’t need experience in marching band, prop design, or anything else like that. Just a willingness to sign up, show up, and help your kids. Drivers who pull trailers will be reimbursed for fuel.

Provide meals for the band at Saturday Competitions

Our students, staff, and volunteers work hard throughout the season, and we like to treat them to a meal on competition days. Think of this like a tailgate party of about 60 people. You can bring prepared food or grill, fry, or cook in the parking lot while the band warms up for competition. The booster club will provide tables and drinks if you will provide the food, paper goods, and utensils.
