Physicals and Summer Camp

All marching band and color guard members must have an updated sports physical before July 10th. Please contact your primary care doctor and/or Doctor's Care facilities. 

We are getting closer to our first week of camp with guard and percussion. Please do not wait to get things you need for summer camp. Remember the following:
Sunscreen, shorts and t-shirts, proper tennis shoes (no boots/sandals/crocs), bug spray, hat, sun glasses, and your water cooler will be provided to you on the first day. You will need to bring this every day with you!

Tiger Band Summer Schedule

June 26-29, Percussion and Guard Camp from 9am-3pm.

July 10-13, Full Band Camp from 8am-5:30pm
July 17-20, Full Band Camp from 8am-5:30pm
July 20, Parent Preview Show 6pm

**All students participating in marching band will need to be attendance at summer camps**

Christmas Carols

On Sunday, December 12, 2021, several members of the concert band met at Rehoboth United Methodist Church and played Christmas Carols before and during their service.  These students volunteered their time to provide community service to Saluda County.  They are as follows:

Drey Farmer, Angel Lezame de Jesus, Guadalupe Yanez-Acosta, Luis Martinez, Wilfredo Lopez, Kentay Etheredge, Erin Black and Jocelyn Yanez-Acosta.  The chuch is setting up a mission's fund to support the tiger band for their performance.

Saluda Christmas Parade

The Tiger Marching Band gave its last performance of the year at the annual Saluda Christmas parade on December 11, 2021.  The members met at 10 am for a brief rehearsal and then marched the parade through town which began at 11 am.  This year the group played Feliz Navidad.  

Newberry Honor Band

Six students from Saluda high school were selected for the Newberry college honor band held this week.  They gave a concert Saturday, November 20, 2021 at 2 pm at the Wiles Chapel on the college campus.
